Two years on from enactment of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act, radical change is underway in the way in which care and support is delivered in West Wales. Partners have a clear and shared vision for change, appetite for transformation and relentless focus on making a difference for people and communities.
The ‘Delivering Change Together’ conference brought together colleagues from different organisations and sectors and provided a unique opportunity for sharing existing success and thinking about how we take transformation forward in the future. The programme included a keynote opening address by Huw Irranca-Davies AM, Minister for Children and Social Services, along with stimulating presentations on current initiatives and practical workshops to help with our continued journey of change.
Individuals in attendance ranged from Senior managers,Service managers and team leaders, Commissioners, Social workers/ Care managers/ MDT staff, Social Care providers, Workforce leads, along with Service Users and Carers.
